After getting back from Baltimore, Aeryn kind of doesn't hate everything. It surprises her, too. Aeryn wakes up early, and John's still asleep next to her. She could wake him, but if the holidays really tire him out, she can let him sleep for a while longer. There are many reasons relationships don't happen in the Peacekeepers, and one of those reasons is that Aeryn's found it really hard to get a good night's sleep lately. Aeryn places the flower bouquet on her dresser, still surprised but pleased. She's completely not the person to go for this sort of thing, but appreciates it anyway.

Plus, it comes with a polar bear, and she knows what this is now.

Things I have learned so far today:

1. I now know what a polar bear is.
2. Coffee is NOT meant for Sebacean brains, because I can not stop mine from doing flip-flops inside my head.
3. I have seen far too many naked people for one week.
